Morten Huse
BI Norwegian Business School
Dr. Morten Huse is professor of Organisation and Management, Department of Communication and Culture at BI Norwegian Business School. His research about value creating boards and women on boards have received considerable international attention. His main publication is “Boards, Governance and Value Creation: The Human Side of Corporate Governance” (2007, Cambridge University Press).
Morten Huse was 1997-2000 president of StyreAkademiet Norway (National Association of Directors), 2010-2012 president European Academy of Management (EURAM) and 2009-2014 member of Catalyst Europe Advisory Board (CEAB). From 2014 he is member of the Beirat (scientific board) of Göttingen Diversity Research Institute. His research about women on boards has been funded by e.g. the Research Council of Norway, Innovation Norway and EEA/Norway grants.
The recent work of Morten Huse focuses on meeting questions raised in several countries: What can we do in our country to increase gender balance in business and society – should we follow the Norwegian example?

María Consuelo (Connie) Cárdenas de Santamaría
Full Professor at School of Management of Andes Univertsity of Bogota
Full Professor, School of Management, Universidad de los Andes (Bogotá). Coordinator of the “Leadership and Feminine Awareness” program, through which she has developed workshops and courses for executive women and men in Bogotá and other three capital cities in Colombia. Chairs a research project about women in power positions (MEPLA) and carries out a seminar on this subject. Presently coordinates the university’s Gender Portfolio.
Holds a psychology degree from Universidad Javeriana and an EdD from the University of Massachussets, Amherst. Was Academic Vice-Rector of Universidad de los Andes.
Has taught courses and chaired research seminars about several women’s issues, organizations and their power structures and has published articles and books around these fields (i.e. Mujeres y Vida Corporativa en Latinoamérica: Retos y Dilemas) and her most recent one about her research with and about women (En Busca del liderazgo femenino). She is also a couple’s therapist and published a book about her clinical practice (La relación de pareja: la importancia de la diferencia).
Was Visiting Professor at the Psychology Department, U. Mass., Amherst; chaired the Psychology Department and the MBA program at the Business School, also at Universidad de los Andes.
Married and has a daughter, who is a clinical psychologist.

Margarita Mayo
IE Business School
Margarita Mayo is an award-winning researcher and professor of leadership and organizational behaviour at IE Business School in Madrid. She is a leading expert on how we can find passion and purpose, and become more authentic in leadership and life. She has been recognized as one the world´s 30 most influential management thinkers to watch in 2017 by Thinkers 50 and was shortlisted for the Thinkers 50 Leadership Award, the Oscars of management thinking.
She is the author of Yours Truly: Staying Authentic in Leadership and Life (Bloomsbury, 2018). She is a Fulbright Alumni of Harvard University and has been a visiting professor at some of the world’s leading business schools such as the Ivey School of Business in Canada, ESMT in Berlin and Lancaster University in the UK.
Margarita has presented her original research at international conferences worldwide. Her articles appear in management publications such as Harvard Business Review and Financial Times as well as in top academic journals.
Margarita was educated in Europe and the United States. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from Universidad Autonoma in Madrid, magna cum laude with highest honors; an M.A. in Psychology from Clark University; and a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the State University of New York at Buffalo (where her thesis on leadership and diversity was a finalist in the Best Dissertation Award in the United States). Outside of work, she practices triathlon and ballroom dancing.

Conchita Galdón
IE Business School
Concepción Galdón is IE University’s Social Innovation Director/Academic Lead. At IE she has the mandate to promote Social Innovation academic content across Schools and Programs, encourage more research in Social Innovation and reach out to organizations and partners interested in Social Innovation. Concepción is professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at IE. Concepción is also President of the social Venture Puentes Global, which she co-founded in 2009. She´s a member of Ashoka Spain’s Venture Board and of the board of Harvard Kennedy School Spain Alumni Network.
Graduated with a B.S in Economics from U.A.M, Concepcion holds a Master’s in Public Admin and Int. Development from Harvard Kennedy School. Her professional exposure includes social impact projects in Bolivia and Madrid, UN Headquarters, Santander Bank and the Finance Ministry of Liberia. There, she worked with the Government of Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, Nobel Peace Prize 2011.Since 2010 Concepcion has held several positions in IE, including deputy director of the Center for Diversity.

Kriti Jain
IE Business School
Dr. Kriti Jain is a full-time member of faculty at IE Business School, Madrid, Spain (consistently ranked amongst world’s top 10 B-Schools) and specializes in Decision-making, especially in the strategic contexts of organizations and public policy. In 2018, Thinkers50 named Kriti in the list of emerging global thinkers with the potential to make lasting contributions to management theory and practice.
Kriti is a PhD in Management from INSEAD (ranked no. 1 in latest Financial Times global rankings) and has published in leading management, economics, and psychology journals including, Management Science, Human Resource Management, Journal of Behavioral Decision Making, International Journal of Forecasting, and Journal of Operations Management. INSEAD, in 2018, recognized her as one of their top 50 women alumni leading academic excellence.
Before joining full-time academics, she worked with McKinsey & Co. on risk management projects focusing on energy and materials sector for global clients based in Europe and Middle East.
Professor Kriti holds the prestigious European Union’s Marie Curie Fellowship (Euros 100,000) for research work on decision-making. She has consistently received top ratings for her courses on Strategic Decision-Making, Managing Talent, and Risk Management conducted for business leaders, lawyers, entrepreneurs, and doctoral scholars. She regularly shares her ideas as a guest speaker for corporate events and as a columnist for business press. Her work has featured in print media such as Forbes India, Psychology Today and The Wall Street Journal.
