Daniel is in charge of managing internal programs to enhance the recruiting, retention, advancement, and satisfaction of women at BCG. He joined BCG in 2010 and worked on the consulting team for seven years before transferring from a principal position to his current role.
Daniel holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Polytecnica de Madrid.

Eva Valbuena

Eva Valbuena is the Executive Director for IE Talent & Careers. Before she was the Human Director for The Boston Consulting Group for 18 years. In addition, she is a coach and trainer since 2000, before that she was a strategic management consultant.
At IE, she is charge of a 35 people to support students in their career aspirations.
Eva's professional passion is to untapped professional development, by releasing any mental blocks and building on specific strengths. Her experience as coach, consultant and HR allows her to understand the challenges of working for multinationals.
At BCG, she was leading the Career Management process, Training and Staffing. She also worked at the Global level launching a new initiative, BCG TURN. She designed innovative development programs, supporting them with coaching, e-learning and mentoring.
She launched a very successful program of group mentoring for the Professional Women Association in Madrid that has received many awards and has been extended to different countries. Currently is participating in a 'Personal Board of Directors' project, similar to the very successful of Young President Organization's.
She holds a diploma in Business Administration at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, an MBA from London Business School. She has been trained and certified by The Coach Training Institute, the Center for Creative Leadership and Marshall Goldsmith. Accredited practicioner for MBTI Step I and II, Firo B, Benchmarks, Workplace Big 5, Discovery Learning Influence and Change Style indicators.
She lives in Madrid with her husband and 2 children.

Almudena Arpón de Mendivil

Ms. Arpón de Mendívil is a partner with the law firm Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.
She leads the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) Group within the Corporate Department. Her expertise is diverse, with an emphasis on corporate, M&A, joint ventures and the like. During her career she has been involved and continues participating in some of the most relevant and complex cross-border transactions.
Almudena has been appointed Secretary General of the International Bar Association for the period 2019-2020. The IBA is the leading worldwide association of the legal sector, with more than 80,000 individual members from top law firms worldwide, and 190 bars spanning across more than 170 jurisdictions.
Ms. Arpón de Mendívil has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Spanish satellite company Hispasat and a member of its executive commission and of its appointments and remunerations commission (2013–2018).
She is Secretary General of Círculo Fortuny (the Association of Spanish Luxury Brands) and a member of the Executive Board of the European Cultural and Creative Industries Alliance.
Ms. Arpón de Mendívil is also a member of the Executive Committee and of the Advisory Board of the Southwestern Institute for International and Comparative Law at the Center for American and International Law.
Since the early years of her career, Ms. Arpón de Mendívil has been recognised as a leading practitioner by legal directories. She has also been acknowledged as one of the most influential professional women in Spain (Unedisa, 2018), as well as one of the most inspiring women lawyers (Iberian Lawyer, 2018).
Ms. Arpón de Mendívil graduated in Law from the Catholic Institute of Business Administration (1985), obtained a Master’s Degree in Community Law from the College of Europe in Bruges (1986) and a PiL from Harvard Law School (1990).
She is the author of several publications, such as International Joint Ventures in Spain (1992), the first Comments to the General Telecommunications Law (1999) and The Secretary to the Board and Directors’ Duties in Spain (2009).

Prior to joining the Spanish ridehailing company, she held roles in Marketing, Merchandising and Operations in different industries, including Retail and Tech. Bárbara is passionate about building brands that can earn the admiration and loyalty of the ever-demanding, digitally-connected, socially-concerned and ecologically-aware customer of today. Born in Brazil, she holds a degree in Business Management from the University of Brasília and an MBA from the University of Michigan. When not working on making cities a better place to live by improving mobility in the largest urban centers in Iberia and Latam, you will find her either travelling, attending a big concert, skiing, visiting her family in Brazil or at the nearest yoga studio.

Natalia Basterrechea

Natalia Basterrechea is Director of Public Affairs for Facebook in Spain and Portugal. Among its responsibilities are the areas of privacy, security, regulatory issues that affect the Internet sector as well as the relationship with different governments and public bodies.
With an extensive career, Natalia has been key in advising different startups, participating in the launch of major telecommunications companies, such as mobile operators and new Internet businesses. Prior to joining Facebook, he worked for several companies, including GSM Association, Hutchison3G United Kingdom and Vodafone Spain, vLex Network S.L. and FON Wireless Ltd.
Natalia holds a Law Degree from the University of Deusto with an LLM, Master in International Relations and European Competition Law from the School of International Relations of Amsterdam.
