IE University Campus Segovia

Character one has been hardened by her occupation, despite her big heart. Her family does not know (or pretends not to know) about it all, so it could be said that her real family are the other women out there, with whom she has lively discussions in a hairdresser's shop.

Character two is a newcomer, a South American migrant, arrives in the neighborhood where they work, and at first she is not well received. But character one learns to love her and cultivate her friendship, while admiring her intense dedication to send money to her young son, who lives with his grandmother on the other side of the pond.

One of Europe's best filmmakers of the last three decades masters a tricky subject thanks to his undeniable cinematographic talent and an unreal, fairy-tale atmosphere. The actresses are absolutedly remarkable, they are the real protagonist of a film that will leave no one unemotional.
