IE Creativity Day 2023: Flourish!

Innovation is born when Art meets Science

Creativity is a different way of approaching a particular situation, oftentimes called divergent thinking, meaning different from the generic or the usual. It can manifest itself in any area of life, be it everyday situations or complex moments. 

When creativity emerges, it provokes a change in our vision, understanding or behaviour, which in turn often modifies the environment in which we move as it has the capacity to influence others. We could say, therefore, that creativity is the prelude to change, a catalyst for innovation.  

The presence of the arts has become fundamental for institutions such as IE University because of the importance of Creativity in the formation of more sensitive and inclusive human beings. People, in short, more capable of thinking and acting in a new way in the face of a specific problem, that is mainly why we are every year passionate about celebrating the most important day for Creativity at IE University. 

Powered by IE Campus Life in collaboration with IE Center for Health, Well-Being and Happiness, IE Creativity Day will take place on 23rd March 2023 as part of IE Center for Health, Well-Being and Happiness' Happiness Week 2023. 

The theme under which the entire agenda will be built is Flourish/Flourish provoking Art to meeting Science. 
Please note the core event will take place on 23rd March BUT early and late actions will be also offered on 22nd and 24th March.
