This is a dedicated event focusing on Mindfulness and Relaxation Techniques, aiming to foster inner balance and emotional well-being. Embracing the normalcy of negative feelings, our approach equips you with techniques to cope in the most effective way possible. These workshops will be held at both our Segovia and Madrid campuses!

Shane is an Adjunct Professor and faculty member of the Center for Health & Well-being at IE University. Shane joined the team in 2022. 



Shane has worked internationally as a facilitator, trainer and educator in a wide range of areas from Health and Well-Being, Education for Global Justice, Youth Work for professionals and Teacher training. He has over two decades of experience working for local & larger International NGOs as well as Educational Institutions in the Global North and South. Over the past number of years, Shane has helped develop & led the CIT (Compassionate Integrity Training) & its Global Education Network. He has also nurtured partnerships with UNESCO/MGIEP. 



Shane is originally from Dublin, Ireland but moved to Madrid 6 years ago with his wife and two young daughters.



As well as focusing on several different areas of Health & Well-Being and facilitating IE's Weekly Mindfulness Sessions at the Towers, Shane is also an Advanced Breathwork Instructor, Yoga Instructor, Movement Specialist and qualified Personal Trainer. He loves integrating nature based learning and exploring ancestral indigenous wisdom. Shane is Co-Founder of Indigenous Ireland.
