🌍 We all know discrimination exists.

🔎 What’s less visible is how it affects us.

🛡️ This workshop explores its impact—and ways to protect your wellbeing.

💬 Through real-life examples, guided reflection, and practical tools, we’ll examine how discrimination can shape your focus, energy, confidence, and sense of belonging.

🤝 Together, we’ll explore ways to recognize its effects, respond to difficult situations, access support, and care for yourself and others.

https://www.linkedin.com/in/yzubiaurre/

Yone Zubiaurre is a Senior Counselor at IE University. With a keen interest in understanding how individuals relate to themselves, others and their environment, she is particularly interested in the social dynamics of interpersonal relationships, discrimination and abuse, and in contributing to a more inclusive and diverse society.

Before joining IE University, Yone spent ten years working with perpetrators of domestic violence in London. She specialized in behavioral change interventions and risk assessment, leading intervention programs and collaborating with multidisciplinary services, including police, social services and healthcare professionals, to inform safeguarding decisions.

Her experience has shaped her understanding of human behaviour as something that cannot be considered in isolation, but needs to be understood within the wider context of people's relationships, environments and circumstances. Her approach draws on different perspectives on human behaviour, considering psychological and neurobiological processes alongside the social and environmental factors that shape our experiences. She is particularly interested in how understanding these interactions can support personal development and more informed choices.
