What Are You Made Of? Ethics, Creativity and Wellbeing with Laila Hotait

Believe us: there could never be a better way to start IE Creativity Day than the transformative and meditative session IE professor Laila Hotait has prepared for us. 

Award winning Lebanese-Spanish filmmaker and artist, Laila has spent most of her fruitful career exploring the idea that we are all an architectural structure made of souvenirs and amnesia, both with the same weight, reflecting this in our individual and collective history. Creativity is human factor as much as our principles play key role not only in our personal interactions but at work too. 

This interactive workshop will first engage participants in overcoming stereotypes to create their own story line of creativity (those life momentums in which creativity emerged) to them transfer those sensations into collective memory with the group by means of practical exercises with colour pencils, cut-outs, arts & crafts of different kinds.... 

Immersive, empowering, chilled and extremely transformative, having the possibility of getting to know Laila has already been a turninig point for many of us so this early morning session is more that a must. 

No digital mediums will be used or allowed during the session, silence will actually be paramount allie:
