Featuring Dr. Scott Borden, IE University faculty member and author of the guide, who will speak on:
* The importance of nature for mental and physical health
* How climbing builds community
* The inspiration behind the guide and what makes Segovia a unique urban climbing destination
The guidebook includes:
* Insightful sections on Segovia’s history, local geology, flora and fauna, and maps and pictures for locating climbing areas
* Climbing ethics for preserving outdoor spaces
* Seven bouldering areas – all within walking distance from the city center
Also featuring Phoebe Zeidberg, who will speak on:
* The IE Climbing Club
* How the sport is growing on campus
* Fostering strong student bonds through movement, challenge, and connection.
