The weekly sessions are going to cover various topics centred around building negotiation, argumentation and public speaking skills as well as successful performance in conferences for academic debate, Model UN, and British Parliament. The sessions are used as an opportunity to develop strong interpersonal and debating skills as well as identify individuals to represent IE University at conferences and events throughout the year. Certificates of completion will be awarded to those who attend our training program. A minimum of attending 6 sessions is required for certification (and competition participation in accordance with IE rules). We welcome any and all IE students looking to expand their knowledge, try something new, and practice the skills necessary for success in debate and Model UN; all skill levels encouraged and welcome! Participants don't have to attend all sessions, they can opt-in and out to the most to sessions they are interested in. However, a minimum of 6 is required, 9 - strongly recommended and 12 - recommended.
