Tamzin Townsend is a renowned theatre Director and Adjunct Professor a IE University. Born in England, Tamzin studied Theatre and Drama Studies at the University of Kent at Canterbury, specialising in theatre direction. She has enjoyed a long and successful career directing both modern and classical theatre, opera and television. She has also directed both English and Spanish classical theatre, often opening at international theatre festivals, including Merida and Almagro. Thanks to her many successes, the Spanish press has crowned her the “Queen Midas” of theatre.
Tamzin travels widely with Dramatic Resources, leading workshops for corporate businesses. She is fluent in both English, Spanish and Catalan and teaches in all three languages.
