Shivangi Prasad will explain through different perspectives, the laws against violence in the workplace. Through a display of statistics, case laws and more she will showcase the challenges that exist in terms of compliance, and the different reasons why women, men and individuals identifying as any other gender decide to not report and its impact. She will also talk about some of the laws and best practices around the world that organisations can follow to create a culture against violence and a healthy and equal opportunity workplace.

Degree from Government Law College, Mumbai & Founder Partner of POSH at Work (www.poshatwork.com - a legal cum psychology firm assisting organizations in complying with the law against sexual harassment at workplace and related topics). Empanelled by Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India since February, 2017. 



Handled 150+ complaints as an external member. Conducted 250+ training / awareness sessions on the Law against sexual harassment at workplace involving 1,00,000+ individuals including sessions for several MNCs, IIMs, IITs, PSUs, Ministries, NGOs etc. Written 50+ articles / notes / opinions on the subject.



Wrote legal commentary titled 'Handbook on the Law of Sexual Harassment at Workplace' - Published by Thomson Reuters in 2015. The book gives a section-wise analysis of the law and analyses several important judicial pronouncements (both Indian and International). It provides a brief history of evolution of the law (both in India and in jurisdictions such as USA, UK and Australia) and provides for FAQS, do's and don'ts, templates and practical tips for IC members. Second Edition published in 2019.
