25% of workplace violence goes unreported.
Shivangi Prasad will explain through different perspectives, the laws against violence in the workplace. Through a display of statistics, case laws and more she will showcase the challenges that exist in terms of compliance, and the different reasons why women, men and individuals identifying as any other gender decide to not report and its impact. She will also talk about some of the laws and best practices around the world that organisations can follow to create a culture against violence and a healthy and equal opportunity workplace.
7:30 PM – 8:30 PM
The fields of Business and Entrepreneurship have always been dominated by men. Women all around the globe have found themselves under a glass ceiling every time they have tried to reach leadership positions or contribute to the market or their workplace in the same way as their male counterparts; women like Uliana, Tanya, María or Carolina.
The four of them will be joining us in a fully online panel moderated by Caroline Lomonaco, President of the IEU Women in Business Club in Madrid, in order to share their experiences trying to shatter the glass that has always rested above their heads, that although always allowed them to see the sole of the shoes of the men in their field, had to be broken with hard work and perseverance so they look at them in the eyes.
2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Many girls and women around the world cannot access sanitary products, which presents significant barriers to their advancement and wellbeing, preventing many of them to continue their education. The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbates these challenges and begs for an educational shift beyond the classroom. In this panel, we will talk about said challenges young girls face because of period poverty and the taboo around the topic in Africa, as well as different initiatives taken towards ensuring their social emotional learning.
Make sure to join us in this very interesting conversation and start taking action towards a more equal world!

The physical and unconscious consequences that at different levels women have do to subtle but constant gender violence, present in most countries, has for many years been ignored. However, women have to deal with its consequences on a daily basis: menstrual cramps, bad posture, lack of vitality and focus, infertility, polycystic ovaries, and endometriosis. In this workshop, Aloina Cristal will help you go back to your hormonal balance to prevent, avoid and solve any of the issues mentioned before, by using intuitive movement, subconscious reprogramming, and mindfulness.

Sandra Day O’Connor once said, “The power I exert on the court depends on the power of my arguments, not on my gender”. Nevertheless, we see over again that women and men are treated differently in law, only 19% of equity partners in law firms are women and 29% are less likely to reach the first level of a partnership than men. Despite the present barriers, women still continue to make big strides and are leaders in the legal sector, and our guest speakers are no exception. We are extremely honored to host such inspirational and successful panelists today, as they share their experiences in shattering the glass ceiling in law.

This talk aims to uncover some of the hidden aspects of Greek myth, and to reflect on the reasons why myths become buried and hidden. Sometimes we confront the problems of transmission – which texts survived, and why, and what factors can we determine in their survival. At other times, we will address the problem of interpretation and reading: how do scholars interpret these texts and in what ways are these interpretations circumscribed? It will cover some of the most seminal works of ancient Greek literature, including tragedies by Aeschylus, Sophocles, and Euripides, Plato’s dialogues, Homer’s Iliad, and comedies of Aristophanes and Menander.

In March 2021, Forbes released the disheartening results of a survey carried out by The Trevor Project, the leading organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ+ youth under 25 in the United States. They determined that still, in 2021, more than 35% of LGBTQ+ youth in America, experienced workplace discrimination, with significantly greater rates among transgender and nonbinary youth.
At their workplaces, in public spaces, and even within their closest groups of relatives and acquaintances during their day-to-day life, the LGBTQ+ community keeps facing discrimination and harassment at daunting rates. Michelle Raymond and Mahmoud Assy, members and activists of the community, will be sharing their experiences and how these have shaped their lives and professional careers. In a one-hour interactive panel, the audience will get the chance to listen to their stories and put themselves in the shoes of those who still face judgement and hatred for their gender identity and/or their sexuality.
6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Nichelle Nichols once said: "STEM is not a boy's game, it's not a girl's game. It's everyone's game. It's about where we are and where we're going.” Nevertheless, Women make up only 28% of the workforce in STEM. However, today we have three women that have challenged and broken many barriers that exist in the industry and are today’s inspiration for women that are starting this path. We are extremely honored to host such inspirational and successful panelists today, as they share their experiences in shattering the glass ceiling in STEM.
