Morgan Powell
Morgan Powell is a manager in the advocacy department at the Women's Sports Foundation (WSF). She has spent the past two and a half years at WSF working collaboratively on grassroots and national initiatives that educate the public and advocate for policies and practices that advance gender equity in sports. She is a graduate from Simmons University with a Bachelor’s in Public Relations and Marketing and from Springfield College with a Master’s of Education in Sports Management. She is a former high school varsity track and volleyball athlete, as well as a college volleyball athlete. After competing she coached both volleyball and track at the high school and college levels.
Rana Bazazo
Studied physical education in the Lebanese University, then proceeded to continue her education in sports with a specialization in Basketball in Leipzig University, Germany. Coach Bazazo has been coaching basketball and physical education in schools and basketball clubs from a young age, however, has now become the first female coach to become the first assistant coach for the men's 1st division team in Lebanon, alongside her position as the head coach of the woman's 1st division team. Coach Bazazo is also the first assistant coach of the Women's National Team and head coach of the Girls Varsity team at the American University of Beirut, coaching and winning several tournaments both locally and internationally with both the kids basketball academy and professional basketball teams. Coach Bazazo has attended several seminars and workshops regarding the sport of basketball and was invited to participate in the Golden Ticket Sports to lecture in the global Youth Basketball Summit.
