Patrice Juah
Patrice Juah is an International Affairs and Communications Professional. As founder of the Martha Juah Educational Foundation, she champions girls’ education, leadership, digital and information literacy, and Social Emotional Learning through the foundation's Sexy Like A Book initiative. An accomplished author, award-winning poet and firm believer in the transformative power of education, she is an Executive of Karanga - The Global Alliance for Social Emotional Learning and Life Skills. She also supports the Liberia Literary Society, as board member and editor. Patrice is a Deutsche Welle Global Media Fellow, Kistefos Scholar, and a Mandela Washington Fellow for President Obama's Young African Leaders Initiative. She holds a Master's degree in International Relations from the IE School of Global and Public Affairs at IE University in Madrid, Spain. A perpetual knowledge seeker, she has a fascination for languages and enjoys fostering global collaborations.
Isabella D'Ambrosio

Isabella has been involved in several development projects in Venezuela and Spain, focusing on access to quality education, financial inclusion, and community empowerment. She considers education to be the best tool to fight inequalities and is a firm believer that through the power of communities and individuals we can overcome the challenges that impede the advancement of society. She was Project Manager for the Kolu’s Moon project in collaboration with the IE African Center and the IE Human, Science and Technology School, to support the work of the Liberian organization Community Healthcare INC in their fight against period poverty and school dropout rates amongst Liberian girls. After graduating with a degree in Communication and Digital Media, she worked at United Way Spain implementing educational projects for underserved communities in the country. Isabella is currently pursuing a Master’s in International Development at IE University.
Carolina Ferrer

Carolina Ferrer is an Adjunct professor at the IE School of Global and Public Affairs of IE University. She teaches courses and seminars mainly about Gender Equality and Sustainable Development as well as Project Management in Undergraduate and Masters' Degree programs. Since 2011, Carolina has been working at the World Bank Group to promote gender equality through analytical and operational work in regions such as Latin America and the Caribbean and Africa. Currently, she also works as a Gender Equality and Social Inclusion expert at the private firm Tetra Tech by empowering women and girls through Energy projects in developing countries. Previously, she worked at UN Women, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Spanish Permanent Representations of Spain to the EU and to the United Nations.
