Sandra Day O’Connor once said,  “The power I exert on the court depends on the power of my arguments, not on my gender”. Nevertheless, we see over again that women and men are treated differently in law, only 19% of equity partners in law firms are women and 29% are less likely to reach the first level of a partnership than men. Despite the present barriers, women still continue to make big strides and are leaders in the legal sector, and our guest speakers are no exception. We are extremely honored to host such inspirational and successful panelists today, as they share their experiences in shattering the glass ceiling in law.
