108 Sun Salutations to Welcome the Spring in Segovia

Every change in season marks an end and a new opportunity. As the winter comes to an end, we would like to invite the IE Community, from seasoned to beginner yogis, to the 1st edition of 108 Sun Salutations in Segovia to welcome in the spring with renewed intentions and energy.

The 108 sun salutations are usually done as a spiritual practice at special times such as transition between seasons, spring/summer or fall/winter, full and new moons. Why 108? The number 108 is considered to be a very spiritual and sacred number in the Hindu religion and is the number of names given to God Shiva. The approximate distance between the Earth and the Sun is almost 108 times the diameter of the Sun.
