Have you felt the craziness of this past year? Same.
- During Happiness Week (March 22nd-27th), the Student Advisory Board of the IE Center of Health, Well-being, and Happiness will be providing all of the IE community with an immersive, knowledge-packed week to boost our health, connection with others, and cultivate a better relationship with our inner world.
- The purpose of the week is to provide diverse events, activities, and bring extraordinary speakers with the aim of helping IE members to resurge from the chaos and cultivate a new direction filled with growth, purpose, and community. Many of our own problems arise from our relationship with ourselves first, and the purpose of this week is to give people back their ability to go within and take charge of their own life.
- Our mission is that all attendees will take away actionable tools to unlearn and unbecome the facets of themselves that they wish to let go of. We will find that throughout the week, there will be an overarching theme of stepping into and becoming your best version
The 4 Pillars of Happiness Week 2021:
1. MIND:
The most powerful tool that we possess to create and design the life that we desire; expanding or contracting our reality based on our ability to use it wisely and intentionally.
2. BODY:
Our home — the vehicle that we have been gifted to carry out a life worth living. The way in which we treat it affects all facets of our daily performance, energy, and goals.
3. SOUL:
Our true essence that encompasses our unique personal energy through which we channel our gifts, mission, and purpose into this world.
4. VOCATION:
Our professional calling in which our deepest passions can be showcased by adding value to others, and providing us with a means to excel financially, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

The book Mindfoodness was written by a pair of young students from the IE Community, Niklas Hess and Sarah Sánchez, with the goal of making a difference in these extremely challenging times. Not only does it include 80+ delicious recipes, but it intends to support the mental wellbeing of the reader in an enjoyable and unintrusive way.
Have you ever thought about the benefits that the process of cooking can bring to you?
Mindfoodness addresses this question by showing how the process of cooking can be used as a self-therapeutic method. It includes both the explanation of the self-therapeutic methodology and the corresponding recipes, so you can start embarking on a journey to a happier and healthier life while enjoying some seriously delicious dishes.
Join the creators, Niklas and Sarah, as they lead us through an interactive virtual cooking session where we will learn that cooking and mental health go hand in hand.

Get ready to revitalize your soul, energize your body and experience love on every level and every form. All Love is what Patrick Zeigler currently calls his work with the Sekhem energy which is a word for connecting to source in the ancient Egyptian language. Patrick came into contact with this energy many years ago, through a spontaneous initiation in the pyramids at Giza and, since then, he has begun to study this energy and its characteristics more deeply. The way Sekhem was taught kept changing, but always with the same objective: connecting deeper to the energy and through it, to the whole Cosmos and our True Self. During an All Love workshop, expect Patrick Zigler to guide you into a journey of deep emotional healing while establishing an opening to your inner portals. All Love aims to open and heal your heart and, through it, dive deeper into your being.
At the physical level, the student will experience electricity in many layers of his body. For some, this electricity will vibrate more strongly, often leading to an external vibration. Others, or even the first ones, after a while, experience a more subtle electrical vibration. Some other movements can occur at the physical level as a result of unlocking stagnant energy. At the emotional level, the student will come into contact with many different emotions and feelings. Some of these feelings can expand in deep love. At the mental level, one can experience many different movements, from an overload of thoughts to a very deep process of immersion itself, sometimes falling asleep for a moment, so that the mental field can be re-signified, what we call “Mental reset. At the spiritual level, the student can experience a significant opening of his senses and experience other levels of energy and multiple dimensions.
At the end of this session, you will have 10 ways to challenge and boost your strengths. You will be aware that you are unique, special and that you have superpowers that contribute to the world. And we will point a way to identify and cultivate your talents.
It will be an interactive session where we will share 10 tips to challenge your strengths and multiply happiness. It will be a judgment-free space to think outside the box and empower yourselves with all the amazing things that make you beautiful and wonderful.
We will challenge the status quo and the limiting beliefs that hold you back #choosetochallenge
Spiritual traditions, philosophers, wise people around us, and even common sense have told us that money, status, and power are inadequate ways of providing us with a meaningul and happy life.
Tim Kasser, has been one of the first reseachers to test this hypothesis scientifically. In this interview, we will explore the conclusions of his more than 2 decades of research on personal values to understand their implications for Well-Being. What do we mean by intrinsic and extrinsic values? How do they affect our well-being? Do they have an impact on our social relationships and our attitudes towards the environment? How can we connect more with our intrinsic values?
Join Live Better Co-Founders and Nike Trainers Bret Gornik and Jason Loebig as they will be talking about their own journey from the corporate world to co-founding Live Better, a company that designs wellness experiences to connect people to a community driven to pursue purpose. This talk will cover a new wellness design in how to make self-care a top priority and then how to apply that energy towards finding your purpose in your work - starting tomorrow!
