The message is clear, if we want to tackle our carbon footprint, end greenhouse emissions and achieve our global goals by 2030 we need to make a conscious choice daily. Only with a consistent effort to lead an eco-friendly life, with a sustained habit of reducing our emissions, demanding more policies to fight climate change, leading with our own individual actions we can make REAL IMPACT.

WEARING OUR RESOURCES OUT.

Fashion is the fifth most polluting industry, it makes up 10% of carbon emissions, sends microplastic into the ocean, pollutes rivers, consumes big amounts of water. AND 85% of all textiles go to the dump each year. This last Sunday marked the 9th anniversary of the Rana Plaza collapse in Bangladesh that killed 1,132 people . This is why it is worth rethinking what we wear, how we wear it and who made what we wear. If you would like to learn about Circular Economy, Sustainable fashion we suggest that you attend this fashion show and series of round tables organized by IE

MOTOR VERDE. GREEN ENGINE

Energy is the most polluting industry. Motor Verde (Green Engine) is a project dedicated to offset CO2 by planting trees in several areas in the Spanish peninsula, that were mostly destroyed by fires. This initiative is propelled by Fundación Repsol and Sylvestris. It offers the possibility to calculate our carbon footprint and offset it by planting seeds that will be our future forests. Find out your carbon footprint and act upon it.
