There exist many myths and mysteries about therapy. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Week and Sustainability Week, we are dedicating this event to answering common questions and challenging myths around Therapy.
We will have the honor of having as a guest speaker therapist Carmen de Lisa, she will share with us her experience both being a patient and a therapist. 
Carmen started going to therapy as a teenager and has been in different therapeutic processes ever since. During this event we will learn about both sides of the therapeutic experience, and will allow us to think about and answer different issues or questions we might have:
Fears and concerns of first-timers
What if I don't connect with my therapist?
How do I know if I need to go to therapy?
What goals or objectives should I have in my therapeutic process?
Does my therapist judge me?
Can I lie to my therapist?
These and many more will be covered in this event. Please join us to get an insight into the things you wish to know about therapy.

Get first-person experience with some common situations people with disabilities confront on a daily basis. Through the use of assistive support aids used for personal autonomy (white cane, glasses simulation visual impairment, sound inhibition, etc.), the goal is to deepen your knowledge of disability and learn some basic techniques of accompaniment and communication.

As part of the of activities brought to you during Sustainability Week, the Eco Club is powering a VR Experience to allow you to work out while being in Nature. That way, you get your daily dose of serotonin by working out and experiencing nature in one go.
Through VR we have access not just to new virtual landscapes, but also allows us to create and partake in experiences that are more inclusive to all kinds of bodies and people. Technology and VR are at the forefront of improving conditions of everyone, including people with dissabilities.
With this VR experience we are able to acknowledge for all the many cognitive and physical tasks we carry on while working out.

The second edition of IE’s World Mental Health Days will have “What I Wish I Had Known About…” as its theme. We want to put focus on the power of lived experience and create a conversation in our community around different topics our students wish they had known more about. Events will cover topics such as therapy, mental illness, sex, relationships, social media, and addiction.

Students that participated in the Summer Research Program will present the profile of five climate leders researched under RAIA supervision and with methology ahead of the COP28. The leaders are: Mohammed Bin Salman, Lula da Silva, Teresa Ribera, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortes and William Ruto.

Grads Give Back: Sustainability Edition invites you to explore different career paths in sustainability with IE University alumni Adriana Rodríguez Rivera (LLB BIR), Myriam Barba Martinez-Laya (BID), and Parth Satish (BBA).

This panel will cover careers from sustainable finance and policy-making to ESG reporting, including how each of the panelists' IE experiences prepared them for their career and how you too can make the most of your IE studies to become a professional in this field or apply sustainable ideas to other fields.
