JANUARY IS THE MONTH OF HEALTHY HABITS = GOOD VIBES

Welcome 2023! January's theme is healthy habits

Happy New Year!

Positive Emotions are a key driver for flourishing. Taking advantage of the new year, new term and beginning to many masters, we want to promote positive vibes as a way to get the year started well, to ward off the the post holiday season blues, and also promote the importance of habit-creation to stay on track with our intentions. We appreciate that we can struggle to find balance and we want to support our community in creating healthy habits around nutrition, sleep and exercise and how taking care of one self, and one another, feels good and can have a positive impact on our lives and community!

WEEKLY MINDFULNESS PRACTICE AT THE MARÍA DE MOLINA CAMPUS

The 5 AM Club: Own your morning - Elevate your Life

"While I'm not a big fan of the fictional style in which the book is written, I believe that it does a good job at explaining the incredible benefits one can get from waking up earlier and dedicating the first hours of the day to complete the hardest tasks of the day while taking advantage of the clarity that comes from the silence. I'm still consolidating the habit and although the waking up before sunrise has been tough, my mornings have been way more productive and I have experienced a strong sennse of motivation throughout the day. Have you tried it?"
Recommended by Gonzalo Llanes, Associate Director.

In this episode, Dr. David Sinclair and co-host Matthew LaPlante discuss how frequently we should eat, what food we should avoid, and what food we should pursue.
