What I Wish I Had Known About... THERAPY (IE TOWER)

There exist many myths and mysteries about therapy. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Week, we are dedicating this event to answering common questions and challenging myths around Therapy.
We will have the honor of having as a guest speaker therapist Carmen de Lisa, she will share with us her experience both being a patient and a therapist.
Carmen started going to therapy as a teenager and has been in different therapeutic processes ever since. During this event we will learn about both sides of the therapeutic experience, and will allow us to think about and answer different issues or questions we might have:
Fears and concerns of first-timers
What if I don't connect with my therapist?
How do I know if I need to go to therapy?
What goals or objectives should I have in my therapeutic process?
Does my therapist judge me?
Can I lie to my therapist?
These and many more will be covered in this event. Please join us to get an insight into the things you wish to know about therapy.

What I Wish I Had Known About... THE PSYCHOLOGY OF DATING (SEGOVIA CAMPUS)

Love is one of the most profound emotions known to human beings. While the need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. It’s human nature to seek contact and relationships, to seek love, support, and comfort in others. In fact, according to research, the ‘need to belong’ is one of the main forces that drives individuals.
But when thinking about relationships some questions may arise:

What are attachment styles and how do they affect our relationships?
Have you noticed repeating patterns in your love life?
What should a healthy relationship look like?
What are red flags?
What is affective responsibility?
In honor of the IE World Mental Health Days, we want to shed light on The Psychology of Dating and Relationships. We will be giving an answer to these questions and many more. Please join the conversation!
