Essential Information About Internships – Please Read

  • Internship Information

    • Students are required to submit their internship approval request (through the following link) at least two weeks before the internship's intended start date.
    • The start and end dates must be agreed upon in advance with your Academic Department and the company. The dates entered by the student in the approval request to the Academic Department must align with those provided by the company when the internship agreements team requests information from them.
    • Students cannot begin the internship until it is approved, and the documentation is duly formalized and signed.

    • If the internship is within Spain, it is mandatory to present a valid DNI/NIE.
    • If the internship is outside Spain, it is not mandatory to present a DNI/NIE. However, if you have this number, it would be advantageous to specify it when requesting approval. This allows you to take advantage of benefits such as an accident insurance policy for internships abroad and eligibility for the Erasmus scholarship to support your stay in the destination country.
    • Students are advised not to modify their internship application once it has been submitted. If changes are necessary, please contact your Academic Department, and they will assist in the process.
    • If students have any questions about the type of internship to select, the number of hours they can do, the number of academic credits they can opt for, or how long it will take to receive a response regarding the approval of their internship period, they can review the detailed internship guide of each school through this link or they can contact the corresponding Academic Department
