About Venture Lab International MBA
The Venture Lab IMBA is designed to help student teams transform early-stage ideas into ventures that are ready to launch and attract investment. Through a hands-on experience, participants work on validating their business concepts, gathering real market feedback, and building the foundations of a scalable startup. The program focuses on high-impact entrepreneurship, encouraging teams to collect meaningful validation data such as customer interest, user engagement, and early revenue potential.
Throughout the program, each team is supported by up to two dedicated mentors who work closely with them as they refine their idea, test assumptions, and shape their go-to-market strategy. Teams also participate in workshops and pitch sessions where they receive feedback from professionals working in venture capital firms, angel investors, and experienced founders, giving students direct exposure to the perspectives of those who fund and build startups.
The ultimate aim of the Venture Lab is to move teams beyond the idea stage and into real market validation. By the end of the program, teams are expected to demonstrate traction through experiments such as customer interviews, manual simulations, product demos, and early user engagement. The focus is not only on developing a strong idea, but on learning how to execute it effectively and adapt as the concept evolves through testing and feedback.
Entrepreneurship is an iterative process, and ideas often change as teams learn more about their market and customers. Through continuous experimentation and mentorship, participants gain a clear understanding of what it truly takes to move from pre-launch exploration to a venture ready to enter the market and engage with investors.
