Other Types of Interviews: Panel & Case Cracking Interviews

This section focuses on other styles of interviews that you may come across in the recruiting process. These types of interviews can be question-and-answer-based or more dynamic analyses.

Panel Interviews

Panel interviews involve multiple interviewers, offering a unique dynamic compared to one-on-one interviews. While the questions may be familiar, the challenge lies in balancing your responses, avoiding repetition, and addressing the entire panel effectively. In this video, we will break everything down and go over our tips to excel in panel interviews.

Case Cracking Interviews

Case-based interviews are typical for consulting firms, but more companies and sectors are starting to adapt to this type of interview. Interviewers will be assessing your business skills and the methods that you use to solve the case. In this video, we will cover the structure of case interviews and share our tips to succeed.

Introduction to Assessment Centers

Assessment Centers are a day or two of tests and activities that allow recruiters to assess your abilities and to see whether you have the skills to join their organization. They take place following the first round of interviews and before the final selection.

Assessment Centers are also referred to as Selection Centers, and you will be presented with a mixture of online tests, group/individual exercises, case studies, and presentation exercises. In these videos, we will discuss it further.

Typical Assessment Center Exercises

In an Assessment Center, it's likely you will face some or all of the interview types we have covered on this page about Ace Your Interviews. In addition, you will also face group dynamics, which can be role-play exercises, solving a case, group interviews, or group presentations.

You will face these types of tasks in an Assessment Center →
