This research project strives to uncover what information we have of what makes a holistic athletic recovery journey. Interestingly, research provides not only a large sample of important areas that an athlete should consider for recovery. It is also a call to action for the need of these recovery methods to be personalized for the individual based on various factors, such as, type of sport, personal goals, personal metrics and more.
Aime's comment about the project
As we tend to overgeneralize certain concepts in life, this project has taught me to consiously be aware of the danger of applying athletic recovery information without considering variables that will change from individual to individual.
Dedication
To my professors, mentors, friends and family. Thank you for believing in me.

This project aims to empower women in Chennai, India, to embrace physical activity by addressing barriers such as lack of motivation and supportive communities. It involves designing an inclusive brand and adaptable fitness spaces, fostering connection on community, individual, and emotional levels to inspire sustained engagement.

As someone passionate about fitness and wellness, I wanted to combine my love for these areas with design to create empowering spaces that inspire women to prioritize their health and well-being, especially in a context where women's fitness is bound my cultural stigmas.
