Health Services

Our Health Care Center provides a wide variety of general health services to help keep students at their best. We provide comprehensive health evaluations and services in case of acute illness or injury. Our center is responsible for providing information and guidance on health insurance and access to health services. We will provide health updates and news to keep students up to date about new diseases, prevention guides and action protocols.

The medical service will be at the student's disposal for guidance on issues related to health and well-being during office hours.

HEALTH INSURANCE INFORMATION

Depending on whether you have public or private medical insurance, there are specific steps you should take to receive medical attention. Please, refer to the information below:

If you would like to sign a contract with a private medical insurance in Spain, please bear in mind that our Student Services office has an agreement with Adeslas, Cigna and Sanitas. All of them offer full coverage with special prices for IE students (contact us for more information). Students that have an international health insurance are strongly recommended to look into all policy procedures, requirements and limitations of their insurance. It is better to be proactive than trying to deal with an emergency after it arises.

    How to register to Mi Sanitas (Private Client Area):

    The process has been simplified, now to register you just have to enter your customer card or policy number, along with your NIF and the password you want. You can also indicate the question/answer that will serve as a key in case you forget your password. In addition, with the password that you have selected yourself, you will be able to directly access all the services that you have at your disposal, depending on whether you are the policy holder or beneficiary.
