To Paula, I owe a debt of gratitude that words can hardly express. My profound gratitude is first and foremost extended to Paula Abascal, she has been more than just a tutor; she has been a visionary, a motivator, and the very essence of wisdom and patience. Her support with this challenging subject and her smart suggestions were essential in helping me deal with the complicated details of my subject, ensuring that every argument was persuasive and resonated with the target audience. One of the most satisfying experiences of my academic career has been working on this thesis under Paula's guidance. The base of not only this thesis but also of my academic and personal development has been her constant encouragement and belief in my abilities. To my family and friends, your endless support, encouragement, and belief in me have been my strength and refuge. You have been my constant source of love and motivation, for which I am eternally thankful. I also extend my sincere appreciation to the high-level executives who showed interest in my research. Purposeful Space and Intellect Insight

Areas: Mind, Soul

Parul Khanna

Master in management Student

Purposeful Space is a mental health platform offering tools like meditation, forums, and assessments. Intellect Insight, its foundation, adds journaling, mood tracking, and tests, fostering personal growth and community resilience.

  • Parul's comment about the project

No sooner did I step into the academic yet chaotic streets of Kota than little did I know that this so-called “abode of learning” was a hidden prison of students struggling with perfect grades yet poor mental health. From severe academic pressure to severe isolation, Kota City had the highest suicide rate in the country owing to a lack of mental health management tools and awareness about the significance of peace of mind. Moreover, many students reported undetected depression and anxiety, which resulted in bad academic performance and poor quality of life.  Witnessing these students' plight inspired me to create an all-collective platform, with tools that would unite body, soul, and mind

Scroll, Like, Diagnose: An Exploration of Neurodivergent Trends on Instagram How Social Media Platforms Contribute to Self-Diagnosing Neurological Pathologies like ADHD

Area: Mind

Isabel Kutz Santillan

BBSS Graduate student

This project examines social media's impact on Generation Z, focusing on self-perception, mental health, and self-diagnosis of ADHD. Using literature reviews, autoethnography, and psychologist interviews, it explores the algorithmic effects on psychology.

  • Isabel's comment about the project

In this capstone project I explored the influence that social media has on members of generation z. As a member of this generation in the last couple of years I began to notice a trend of people self-diagnosing with neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD. It was a concern that grew in me and I wanted to explore it in depth to understand why it was happening and what are the consequences of this occurring.

  • Dedication

I dedicate this capstone project to Pablo Arango and  Javier Sauras
